This kind of rota makes it a little easier to keep track of who’s supposed to be doing what, and you can always change it if it starts to feel unfair.

For example, cleaning the living room might involve vacuuming, wiping the tables and shelves, tidying up the sofas and clearing away any items that don’t belong there.
