Promotional Terms and Conditions - £150 Bill Credit

How to enter and eligibility  

2. To be eligible for this promotion, you must enter the promotional code when placing an order for a utilities package and meet all of the below criteria: 

2.1. one or more housemates must sign up for a utilities package and complete a utility order form with at least a 48-week minimum term; 

2.2. all housemates must have completed the utilities package sign up process by no later than 11:59pm on 31 August 2024 (“Deadline”);

2.3. we must have accepted the utilities package order request which shall be notified to all housemates via a welcome email;  

2.4. you or any of your housemates must not have cancelled the utilities package prior to the start of the supply of the utilities services, or within the first 14 days of the start date (stated on the utility order form); and 

2.5. the utilities package must be inclusive of energy, water and broadband. 

3. Only one promotional code can be applied per household and the promotional code cannot be combined with any other offer.  

£150 bill credit 

 4. If you meet the eligibility criteria as set out in clauses 2 and 3 above, the bill credit will be automatically added to the household’s monthly bill for the utilities package, calculated on a pro-rated basis across a 48-week term.  

5. The bill credit will be reduced accordingly (on a pro-rated basis) should the household cancel the utility package at any point before the 48-week minimum term. 

6. The bill credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold. 

7. We reserve the right to remove the bill credit if all housemates do not sign up for a utilities package within 7 days of the promotional code being applied.  

8. The bill credit is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion without notice at our discretion. 

9. We reserve the right to substitute the bill credit with another of equivalent value without giving notice. 

Prize draw – chance to WIN one of four Greene King vouchers 

10. If you meet the eligibility criteria as set out in clauses 2 and 3 above, you (and each of your housemates) will also be automatically entered into a weekly prize draw to win one of four £150 Greene King e-vouchers. 

11. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. The e-voucher is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and does not include any additional costs or expenses.  

12. The prize draw will take place weekly throughout August. Each winner will be randomly selected at 12pm on Friday 9th August, Friday 16th August, Friday 23th August and Friday 30th August.  

13. Winners will be contacted via email within 3 working days of the prize draw. An e-voucher will be sent to the email address provided by each winner within 21 days of the start date (stated on the utility order form) following payment of the household’s first monthly utilities package. 

14. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not provide us with an email for the e-voucher to be sent within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to pick a replacement winner. 

15. This giveaway is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion without notice at our discretion. We also reserve the right to substitute the e-voucher with another prize of equivalent value without giving notice. 

16. This prize draw is in no way associated with Greene King or The Great British Pub Card. The voucher can be used on any item in selected Greene King sites in the UK within the £150 budget. The Great British Pub Card’s terms and conditions governing use of the Greene King e-gift card can be found at https://gk.greatbritishpubcard.co.uk/ under the subheading “Terms & Conditions”.   

17. We are not liable for any damage or loss to a prize caused by any third party. If the e-voucher is damaged or fails to be delivered, we have no obligation to provide a replacement. 

18. While nothing in these Promotional Terms and Conditions will limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud, we will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to us or to you at the time of entry to this promotion or which are caused by a third party, including without limitation all indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of profit, or loss or damage to data. 

19. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the prize draw without notice in the event of a pandemic, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. 

Other terms  

 20. We shall have the right, at our sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these Promotional Terms and Conditions, and such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. We also reserve the right to cancel the prize draw if circumstances arise outside of our control. 

21. Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the bill credit and prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

22. Any sign ups which are received after the Deadline will not be (i) eligible for cashback or (ii) entered into the prize draw. We do not accept any liability for late receipt of utilities package order sign ups because of any technical or other reason. 

23. By completing the utility management sign up process, each housemate is indicating their agreement to be bound by these Promotional Terms and Conditions. 

24. These Promotional Terms and Conditions are supplemented by our Utility Management Service Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Website Terms and Conditions. 

25. Any information provided during the Utilities Package sign up process will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy https://www.splitthebills.co.uk/privacy-policy/. In addition, winners of the prize draw agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material and agree that we can share their email address and name with third parties to the extent reasonably required to fulfil the provision of the e-voucher. 

26. These Promotional Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. 

27. Nothing in these Promotional Terms and Conditions affects your rights to cancel your contract with us.
