Rated highly by students in Nottingham, Rock City has boasted many big names over the years from Oasis to Kings Of Leon. With its wide range of music, decades of history, and popular club nights, it’s easy to see why Rock City is a favourite of both current and previous Nottingham students.
In contrast to Rock City’s loud atmosphere, Tilt is a smaller and more intimate bar in Nottingham known for its wide range of cocktails and regular line-up of live music.
Popular with students around the city, cycling is a great way to travel around Nottingham. Not only is it ranked as one of the best cities in the UK for cycling, it has a range of rental bicycles and e-scooters available to be rented from a number of docks around the city.

Travelling on Nottingham’s NET tram service is a simple and stress-free way to manoeuvre around the city. With trams coming every 7 minutes until close to midnight, there’s not many places around Nottingham that a tram can’t get you.
